Yummy and messy - it is going to be a meal of choice for sure - we loved it!

Ella played her first game of croquet with Grandma Cheri and Grandpa and her playdate buddy. It looks like we have an athlete on our hands!

Ella looooooooved the beach. She took to it like a fish to water! Our favorite part was when she'd get a shovel full of sand by daddy...walk over the entire blanket (losing most of it) to fill up a bucket by mommy....over and over and over. Grammy Deda was there to enjoy the day too!

Ella picks tomatoes with daddy everyday - but when Grammy Deda got here gardening took on a whole new meaning - mud and water!!

It was hot! But I had fun eating the berries right off the bushes...

The easter bunny left a trail of shakable eggs down our hallway! I loved collecting the eggs!!

Although a year and a bit older - Moya (Carl & Deb's daughter) was my buddy this weekend in Colorado!

I pull myself up (although sitting down is a bit tricky)...uh-oh soon I'll be off like a race horse!

I had my first turkey day in St. Louis with my Grammy Deda!

Landing in St. Louis, mommy buddled me up just a bit, and it wasn't even snowing!!

I've had some firsts not caught on film! (If you can believe it!) I can army crawl, drink from my sippy, stand up holding on to something, eating fruits and veggies!

My mommy was trying to take a leaf away from me that I was eating, and low and behold there they were - she knew they were coming on account of my drool, fussiness and chewing on everything...

Maui - and I loved it!

I LOVED the pool - even though it was cold!

I was as good as gold! On all my flights - to and from Hawaii - just one little episode. But since there were kids louder and more annoying than me - no one noticed!

Just kiddin' I didn't really drink it - I just like the cold, shiny bottle!

Well I sat on Grandma Cheri's lap - but soon I'll be gettin' my toes painted!

Happy 4th of July - we picniced in our backyard and drove to the beach to watch fireworks...I fell asleep...

I love the water!

I'm getting a pretty good hold of my head and sitting up is so much more fun than lying down!

We spent the day relaxing, eating and playing pass the baby (see photo album)

My first smiles began on May 31st - but it took Grandma Cheri's photo skills to capture it on film!!

Mommy wanted waffles for her birthday breakfast, so we all went to IHOP...as you can see I was all over it!

After breakfast we headed to the beach...I wasn't a big fan...too cold...too bright...I had a bottle and wanted to go home!

I got gussied up for my mommy's b-day party and my Grandma Awa's house.

Mom and Ella enjoyed their first mother's day together - daddy made it very special!

After her belly button healed, we fully submerged our little water baby - she loved it! Daddy took compromising pictures to use against her when she starts dating!

We finally ventured out of the house for a walk...the fresh air did us good - and as you can see Ella was on the edge of her seat.

We said grace at dinner for Awa's birthday and Ella's one week celebration - as you ocan see she was concentrating intently.

Ella wore her first party dress to her Awa's birthday celebration (it was also her one week birthday!)

It was so nice and warm outside we bathed our beauty on the patio - she seemed to like it because she didn't cry!

Ella, mommy and daddy made their way to the doctor's office to check on Ella's progress.

After our hospital stay, we eagerly ventured home.
